“ It was a really good time definitely a lesbian bar which I loved!! The music was really good not too much house mostly hip hop and rnb mixes... which i like. The dance floor is kinda small but there is a up and down stairs... there was like a balcony where you could look down at the dance floor from the top level. The drinks were poured well and there had my favorite coconut 1800 which is sometimes hard to come by. The bartenders were really nice but also really busy so I didn't get the opportunity to chitchat with them... but over all we had a really good time! ”
“ I absolutely loved it here!! I live in Houston and frequent another lesbian bar and I feel like the music at Sue Ellen's is better. The dance floor is smaller though because it's a sectioned off area apart from the rest of the space. There are two floors and multiple bars. There's also a balcony area with some outdoor seating and a giant jenga with Jagermeister facts on it. There are also some photo booths and pool tables. I will definitely try to come here every time I visit Dallas. Loved it! ”

“ My friends and I came to visit the gayborhood in Dallas. This is a pretty big place! A lot of room to roam around, people watch, and/or dance. It has an upstairs, karaoke, and outside patio. The bartenders made some pretty stiff drinks for us at decent prices. They also have popcorn! There is an admission fee, but I think it might depend on what time you go. We will definitely visit again with the rest of our friends! ”
“ Went to Sue Ellen's during pre-pride party. Cover $5 dollar when we went and it was fun. Drink were around $6 for beer, $10-12 for cocktails, $2 Jell-O shots. The crowd was a lot of different people and bartenders were so nice. ”

That being said - the bar could really use a better sound system/better DJs. Love that the DJs are female - as they should be at the one lesbian bar in Texas - but the amount of issues they have on the regular is rough. ”
